GODIVA’s delicious chocolates don’t typically make it past our doors, but since you’ll be lucky enough to receive them from our store, here are some tips for keeping them fresh:
- Make sure you keep your chocolates in a dry, cool place (temperatures between 15-18 degrees with low humidity) and keep them away from direct light or heat sources to prevent them from melting.
- If storing in the fridge is necessary (i.e. during warmer weather), place the chocolates in an airtight container and return it to room temperature before consuming.
- The cocoa butter in GODIVA chocolate is like a sponge, absorbing everything in the near vicinity, so be sure to keep your chocolate away from garlic, spices or perfumed products (i.e. soap) as this might affect the flavour.
- Sure, you can take all these precautions to stop our chocolates from going bad, but the sooner you eat them, the better they’ll taste!
